I’ve been in the restaurant business and know the difficulties and am very patient because of it. The manager offered a 15% price reduction then when we complained again, he bumped it to 50% for all the meals. Another friend who ordered a hot steak and got a cold one instead refused it as well. When the waitress came by, I immediately said the food was cold (not what I expected from the prices, or the long wait) and I did not want it. A few of us ate anyway including my diabetic wife who had to because she had dosed herself earlier in anticipation of the food and her sugar was dropping. That would have been acceptable except that our food was cold to the touch. It wasn’t until 8:15 that we received our food. We then were served a drink and placed our order around 7:15pm. For the next hour we checked with her 2 more times and finally got seated at 7pm. The hostess was very nice and estimated our seating time to be 30 minutes. ranged from good to great, until last Saturday. Each time the food was pretty good while the service. I’ve had dinner with a group of friends at Uptown Grill over 5 times within the last 2 years. I normally only write good reviews but his time I felt it was necessary this time.
